September 15 (SeeNews) - The business confidence indicator in Macedonia's manufacturing sector rose to 16.3 points in August, from 15.8 points last month and 10.8 points in August 2015, the country's statistic office said on Thursday.
Over the past three months production volume has increased, while the stocks of finished products have expanded only slightly, the statistical data showed.
"The factors that had the greatest influence on limiting the production volume in August 2016 were: insufficient foreign demand with 24.1%, insufficient domestic demand with 17.2% and shortage of skilled labour with 14.3%," the statistic office said.
The managers in manufacturing industry expect that production volume will increase in the next three months. The number of employees in manufacturing is also expected to grow.
