January 20 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip index of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) rose this week, bourse data indicated on Friday.
The MSE's benchmark MBI-10 index closed at 2,213.29 points on Friday, 0.48% higher than a week earlier.
The Macedonian bourse was closed on January 19 for a national holiday.
Official market trading turnover ticked down to 48.6 million denars ($834,580/784,440 euro) from 49 million denars last week.
Komercijalna Banka Skopje [MSE:KMB] generated the largest trading turnover among the blue chips, of 11.6 million denars, as a total of 3,881 shares of the lender changed hands this week.
The MSE bond index, the OMB, closed at 128.6 points on Friday, up from 128.2 points on January 13.
