February 3 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip index of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) edged up over the past week, bourse data indicated on Friday.
The MSE's benchmark MBI-10 index closed at 2,247.81 points, 0.5% higher than a week earlier.
Turnover on the official market fell to 39.6 million denars ($689,500/639,000 euro) from 105.7 million denars last week when 39 million denars were generated via trade in denationalisation bonds. Denationalisation bonds are issued to compensate owners for their once forcefully nationalised real estate.
Komercijalna Banka Skopje [MSE:KMB] generated the largest turnover, of 11.8 million denars, as a total of 3,960 shares of the lender changed hands this week.
The MSE bond index, the OMB, closed at 128.91 points, down 0.16%.
