February 6 (SeeNews) - Two low-cost carriers plan to add flights to Kosovo's Pristina International Airport from Finland's capital Helsinki and Cologne in Germany later this year, local media reported on Monday.
The Pristina-Helsinki route will be serviced by Norwegian carrier Air Shuttle starting from June, public broadcaster RTK said quoting an airport official.
Another low-cost air carrier, Germanwings, intends to launch Cologne-Pristina flights, the official added.
In December, Hungarian low-cost air carrier Wizz Air announced it is launching in April Pristina-Budapest flights, which will be operated twice a week.
The Pristina airport is managed by a consortium of Turkish group Limak and French airport operator Aeroports de Lyon under a 20-year concession contract signed in 2010.
