October 19 (SeeNews) - The Ljubljana Stock Exchange's (LJSE) blue-chip SBITOP index recorded its sixth consecutive winning session on Tuesday, rising 0.17% to close at 1,182.12 points, bourse data showed.
The SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, also advanced 0.17% and closed at 1,377.92 points, LJSE data showed.
Port operator Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG] rose the most among the members of the two indices, as its shares ended 1.63% higher at 25 euro.
Other notable winners include lender NLB [LJE:NLBR], which gained 1.32%, and Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG], whose shares closed 1.12% higher on Tuesday.
At the other end, insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav [LJE:ZVTG] paced the decliners, with shares falling 0.88% to 33.60 euro.
Pharmaceutical company Krka [LJE:KRKG] was the most traded company, accounting for a turnover of 272,941 euro ($318,100). However, Krka's shares closed the session 0.45% lower at 111.50 euro.
Total daily regulated market turnover amounted to 649,591 euro, down compared with 1 million euro generated on Monday.
