December 3 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) ended the week higher, compared with the previous trading day, as total daily turnover grew, bourse data showed.
The blue-chip SBITOP index rose 0.16% to 1,219.37 points. The SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, also advanced 0.16% to 1,421.27 points, LJSE data showed.
Insurer Triglav [LJE:ZVTG] paced the blue-chip winners, with shares rising 1.40% to 36.10 euro. Petroleum and fuel retailer Petrol [LJE:PETG] was another major riser, as its shares gained 1.33% and closed at 457 euro on Friday.
Port operator Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG] suffered the sharpest drop in share price among the blue-chips on Friday. Its shares fell 2.34% to 25 euro.
Total turnover came in at 5.5 million euro ($6.2 million) on Friday, up from 3.1 million euro generated on Thursday.
Pharmaceutical company Krka [LJE:KRKG] was the most liquid company on the bourse on Friday, generating a turnover of 1.4 million euro. Krka's shares closed at 115 euro, down 0.43% compared with its closing value on Thursday.
