August 26 (SeeNews) - The benchmark index of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE), SBITOP, closed up on Friday amid higher turnover.
SBITOP, which tracks the most liquid and highly capitalised stocks on the LJSE, grew 0.74% to 734.29 points after edging up 0.79% on Thursday.
All seven blue chips ended higher on Friday.
The bourse's total daily turnover grew to 1.8 million euro ($2 million) from 1.3 million euro on Wednesday.
Port operator Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG] was the top blue chip gainer on Friday, adding 2.16% to a close of 22.985 euro.
Fuel retailer Petrol [LJE:PETG] was the most traded company generating a turnover of 865,990 euro.
