LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), September 16 (SeeNews) – The main index of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) rose on Monday, backed by gains in port operator Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG], bourse data showed.
The benchmark SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, closed at 858.87 points, up 0.33%.
Luka Koper closed 1.96% higher at 26.0 euro.
At the losers' end, Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG] fell the most among the blue chips. The company closed 2.19% lower at 62.4 euro.
LJSE's total daily trading turnover rose to 1.19 million euro ($1.3 million) from 713,570 euro on Friday, as trade in pharmaceuticals producer Krka [LJE:KRKG] generated the bulk – 405,350 euro.
