June 21 (SeeNews) - Macedonia's economy grew by 7.0% in nominal terms in the first quarter of 2007 to 56.150 billion denars ($1.230 billion/919.23 million euro), preliminary data from the Statistics Office showed on Thursday.
In 2006, the country's gross domestic product (GDP) fell by 3.1%, the Statistics Office said in a statement.
The industry and services sectors are seen as the main drivers of Macedonia's economy in first three months of the year.
