Swedish furniture maker and retailer IKEA representatives and Serbian Trade Minister Bubalo discussed on June 11, 2007 the swedish company's plans of the to enter the local market.

The talks with the IKEA delegation, headed by Hans-Goran Stennert, an IKEA executive, focused on IKEA's plans to enter the Serbian market by opening an outlet in Belgrade, and in other cities at a later stage. The entry of IKEA in the domestic market would confirm Serbia as an investment destination, and would attract more foreign investments, the minister said.
