The uptrend on the Bulgarian Stock exchange continues, with both indexes advancing on Tuesday. The leading index added over 20 points to its value as more than half of the SOFIX components posted gains.

The most significant gainer was Monbat AD-Sofia which added more than 10% to its market capitalization, almost tested BGN 12 per share.

The volume on BSE was quite significant yesterday, after two foreign companies acquired 5% of the capital of the Bulgarian telecom. Bulgarian Telecommunication company AD-Sofia was up 3.12% reaching an intraday high of BGN 11.25.

Both banks in the index continued to be well supported and enjoyed ample liquidity during the pre-holiday trading session. CB Central Cooperative Bank AD-Sofia was the bigger gainer and sustained a daily close of BGN 8.71.

Among the index losers were Petrol AD-Sofia and DZI Insurance & Reinsurance Plc.-Sofia.

Elana Agricultural Land Opportunity Fund REIT-Sofia regained some confidence performing a successful test of BGN 1.70 per share.

BG 40 posted another record yesterday, ending the session slightly below 280.

The index finished with record closes in eight consecutive sessions up to now. The second equity indicator added 11.6% for the period mentioned and the uptrend seems to be well supported. The correction on the BSE that preceded the interesting IPOs from the recent moths seems to be replaced from an upswing, which is reflected in the main indexes.
In BG 40 Insurance company Euro Ins-Sofia increased by nearly 5% and reached an intraday close over BGN 13. Over 3K lots were exchanged on the position.
