Sloevnian Statistical Office has published its quarterly report on Visits to selected tourist sights, museums and galleries, swimming facilities, casinos and gaming salons and number of their opening days for the first quarter of 2008.

- In the first quarter of 2008, 213,495 people visited selected natural, cultural and historical tourist sights in Slovenia; 31.9% of them were foreign visitors.

- Most visits were recorded in the Postojna Cave (40,568), the Zoological garden (26,924), the Bled Castle Museum (17,378) and the Virtual Museum and Viewing Tower at the Ljubljana Castle (9,417).

- There were 1,404,967 toswimming facilities, of these 1,036,089 visits to thermal visits baths.

- Of 1,254,371 people visiting casinos and gaming salons, 70.5% were foreigners.
