Compared to August 2008, in September 2008 turnover from the sale of services in advertising was up by 7.5%.

Turnover from the sale of services in most activities higher than in the previous month

In comparison with August 2008, in September 2008 turnover from the sale of services increased in activities of land transport (by 3.1%), supporting and auxiliary transport activities (by 6.1%), activities of travel agencies (by 9.2%), post and telecommunications (by 4.1%), enterprise consultancy (by 6.9%), technical consultancy (by 5.9%), advertising (by 7.5%) and industrial cleaning (by 4.9%).
In this comparison turnover from the sale of services decreased in computer and related activities (by 2%), other enterprise activities (by 0.2%) and other service activities (by 1.7%).
In volume terms total turnover in hotels and restaurants in September 2008 was 0.2% higher than in August 2008.

In comparison with September 2007, in September 2008 turnover from the sale of services increased in supporting and auxiliary transport activities (by 2.7%), activities of travel agencies (by 0.6%), post and telecommunications (by 14.7%), computer and related activities (by 1.6%), enterprise consultancy (by 13.6%), technical consultancy (by 13%), other enterprise activities (by 11.1%), industrial cleaning (by 18.9%) and other service activities (by 17.3%).
In this comparison turnover from the sale of services decreased in activities of land transport (by 4.2%) and advertising (by 4.5%).
In volume terms total turnover in hotels and restaurants in September 2008 was 4.7% lower than in September 2007.
