



































Romanian paper and cellulose producer Celhart Donaris said it turned to a net profit of 1.7 mln Romanian lei ($718,000/464,000 euro) in the first quarter of 2008, from a loss of 1.7 mln lei in the year-ago period.
The company's turnover almost tripled year-on-year to 11.3 mln lei ($4.77 mln/3.08 mln euro) in the first three months of 2008.
Celhart Donaris's turnover registered a growth of 33 pct year-on-year in the first three months of 2007.
Celhart Donaris shares are listed on the over-the-counter market Rasdaq.
The company is majority owned by local packaging producer Ecopack, which controls a stake of 84.81 pct. Romanian investment fund SIF Banat Crisana holds 14.25 pct in Celhart Donaris.
Ecopack also owns a 99.01 pct stake in local cardboard products maker Ecopaper, and 45 pct in Andritz R&M Service.
Celhart Donaris is based in Braila, southeastern Romania.
