ELECTROPUTERE Craiova - EPT: In H108, Electroputere Craiova posted losses of RON 12.78 Mn. Electroputere Craiova, electrical machines producer, posted losses of RON 12.78 Mn in H108, by RON 1.51 Mn higher as compared to H107 losses, while the operating revenues increased by 48.85%YOY up to RON 103.82 Mn in H108. The losses were registered because of the long production cycle, which will generate revenues in H208; and of the penalties calculated for the delaying budget liabilities payments. ELECTROMAGNETICA Bucuresti - ELMA: Electromagnetica posted for H108 a 4 times higher net profit as compared to H107. Electromagnetica posted a net profit of RON 17.38 Mn in H108, four times higher as compared to H107 net profit of RON 4.41 Mn, while the turnover increased by 68%YOY up to RON 177.05 Mn, on the back of the revenues increase by 67.8%YOY and of a lower growth rate of the expenses, namely 56.3%YOY. On September 4, 2008, the Ministry of Economy and Finance sold 5-Yr T-Notes RON 58.73 Mn (EUR 16.54 Mn), at an average yield of 9.51%, down from 11.17% in the previous auction.
