TRANSGAZ Medias - TGN: The persons whose properties have been abusively seized will have the possibility to buy Transgaz shares at a price higher by 22% compared to the market price. The Economy and Finance Ministry will offer to those individuals whose properties have been abusively seized during the communist regime, the possibility to buy shares in Transgaz Medias, natural gas transmission operator, at a price of RON 235.66 per share up by c22% compared to the market price as of August 25, 2008. Loans growth slowdown in July 08. In July08, non-governmental loans increased by 0.3% as compared to June08, up to RON 178.69 Bn, recording the lowest monthly increase of the last 18 months. The annual growth rate of the non-governamental loans was 55.8%YOY. RON denominated loans increased by 2.4% as compared to June08(+39.4%YOY) up to RON 81.98 Bn, while FCY denominated loans went down 1.5% vs. June08(+73.2%YOY) up to RON 96.70 Bn. Non-governmental deposits declined by 0.3% in July08 vs June08 up to RON 140.368 Bn, namely an increase of 35.2%YOY. RON denominated deposits dropped 0.5% vs June08(+27.4%YOY) up to RON 92.35 Bn, while FCY denominated deposits went up 0.1%(+53.3%YOY), up to RON 48.02 Bn. (Source: BNR, Business Standard)
