OIL TERMINAL Constanta, CONPET Ploiesti - OIL, COTE: Constanta - Trieste oil pipeline project will be frozen or canceled, unless investors will finance the project. The project of the construction of the 1,400 kilometer-long Pan European Oil Pipeline (PEOP) linking Constanta to Trieste, developed by Oil Terminal Constanta, Conpet Ploiesti, Serbia based Transnafta and Croatia based Jadranski Naftovod, will be frozen or canceled, unless investors raise EUR 4.5 Bn in two months after the meeting scheduled for June 2009. SIF OLTENIA Craiova - SIF5: NSC investigates the SGA of SIF Oltenia. The Romanian National Securities Commission investigates the events occurred during SIF Oltenia SGA as of August 31. The shareholders reconfirmed Mr Dinel Staicu as president of SIF Oltenia, although the votes corresponding to 8% of the company s shares were suspended. The argument for the suspension of the votes was that the owners of the shares act in a concerted manner, so they held together more than legal threshold of 1% of the SIF share capital. COMNORD Bucuresti - COSC: Comnord net profit for H108 dropped 29.1% YOY. Comnord Bucuresti, construction company, posted for H108 a 29.1% YOY lower net profit, namely RON 9.89 Mn, while the turnover dropped 27% YOY, to RON 95.3 Mn in H108. Revenues fell by 17.7% YOY to RON 108.55 Mn, while costs fell by 16.14% YOY to RON 96.7 Mn, due to some three months postponed contracts and due to the hard conditions of obtaining the construction authorizations by the developers.
