The two new BSE indices, BGTR30 and BGREIT, started as of 3 September. BGTR30 includes the equities of 30 companies classified according to the market capitalization, number of transactions, free float and turnover for the last 12 months. The equities are initially included in the index with equal weight, then, depending on the changes in their prices, their weights are equaled every three months. BGREIT includes the securities of 11 special investment purpose companies investing in real estates.
For the short stock exchange week, BGTR30 added 1.44% to its value to 1014.37 points, while BGREIT decreased to 99.88 points.
As to SOFIX and BG40 the situation was positive again as both indices finished at new record values.
SOFIX finished the sock exchange week at 1619.14 points being an increase of 0.79%, while the broad index BG40 ended at 429.38 points: an increase by 2.05%.

Stock market indices

Out of the companies included BG40 the greatest increase for the past 3 trading sessions is reported by the securities of the Bulgarian Holding company AD, Sofia /BHC/: a 12.12% increase. Last week the company presented its financial statements for the first six months showing net profit of BGN 6,96 million, while a year earlier it was BGN 1,42 million.

The securities of Chugunoleene AD, Ihtiman /CHUG/ rate second in terms of weekly increase: 8.76%, equities being also traded for over BGN 39, followed by Ì+S Hydraulic AD, Kazanlak /MCH/ with a 7.97% increase.

The equities of 3D Euro Ins AD, Sofia /EURINS/ and Lead and Zinc Complex Plc, Kardjali /OTZK/ increased by over 7% for the three trading days.

The securities of Monbat AD, Sofia /MONBAT/ were also attractive to investors since they were traded at prices over BGN 22 each in the current trading sessions.

Trading with equities of Himco AD, Vratsa /HIMKO/ and TC–HOLD AD, Sofia /TCH/ finished at negative values with a decrease of respectively 3.85% and 3.64%.

According to the financial statements presented to BSE, Orgachim, Rousse /ORGH/ reported consolidated net profit as at 30 June in the amount of BGN 6.174 million, with BGN 1.046 million reported a year earlier, net sales income has increased by 41% and expenses by type have increased by 33%.

The management of Agricultural Land Opportunity Fund Mel Invest REIT, Sofia /ALOFMI/ plans a capital increase from BGN 7 million to BGN 14 million, the proportion between the issued rights and the new equities being 1:1. The par value of the new equities is BGN 1, and the issued value is BGN 1.10. The funds raised through the increase will be used for financing the company’s investing operations: purchase of farmland.

As from September 13 the main trading index SOFIX will exclude DZI Insurance, Sofia /DZI/ and Biovet AD, Peshtera /BIOV/ which will be replaced by Kaolin AD, Senovo /KAO/, Euro Ins AD, Sofia /EURINS/ and Sparki Eltos AD, Lovech /ELTOS/.

On September 10 secondary trading starts with the equities of Specialized Business System AD /SBS/ and Bianor AD /BIANOR/. The issues offered are respectively 100 000 equities of par value BGN 50 and 675 222 equities of par value BGN 1.

The same date shall also be the starting day of trading with rights of Chimimport AD, Sofia /CHIM/, entitling to participation in the capital increase of the company. The new issue amounts to 20 million equities of issued value BGN 11. The proportion between the issued rights and the new equities is 6.5 to 1.

Starting from September 10, the equities from the capital increase of Industrial Holding company AD, Sofia /HIK/, Balkancar-Zarya AD, Pavlikeni /ZARYA/ and Euro Ins AD, Sofia /EURINS/ will also be traded, and this will be the last date for purchase of equities entitling to participation in the capital increase of Industrial Holding Bulgaria AD, Sofia /IHLBL/.

Capman Mutual Funds continue to increase their market share
The mutual funds of the Capman Financial Group continue to attract successfully more and more investors and currently their assets amount to BGN 62.55 million. The market share of Capman Mutual Funds is continually increasing amounting to 8.6% at present.
The investors in the Capman Capital investment company and the Capman Max contractual fund are more than 1800. The good and professional management as well as the high results achieved are some of the main reasons for the growing investor interest.
Capman Capital and Capman Max are the funds achieving the highest income values for the past month of August making a profit in the amount of +10.84% and +7.99%, a finance portal announced recently. Moreover, Capman Max is the only mutual fund beating the index BG40 in August. Since the beginning of the year Capman Max has achieved performance of +80.40%, and the profitability of Capman Capital amounts to +51.89%.
The borrowed capital in the funds is allocated in the following manner between the balanced fund and the equities focused fund: presently the net value of the Capman Capital investment company’s assets is BGN 14.93 million, and BGN 47.62 million of the Capman Max contractual fund respectively.
