




































BELGRADE (Serbia), January 8 (SeeNews) – The Belgrade Stock exchange (BELEX) said on Tuesday it will halt trading in shares in blue-chip soybean producer Sojaprotein Becej from January 14 through January 18 due to the company's planned five-for-one stock split.
“Trading will resume on January 21,” BELEX said in a statement.
Sojaprotein will issue a total of 5,390,000 new shares with a book value of 463.66 dinars ($8.3/5.6 euro) each that will replace its existing 1,078,000 shares with a book value of 2,318.30 dinars each, the statement said.
The company stock ended at 17,366 dinars on Tuesday, down 2.33% from the previous close.
Serbian diversified holding company Victoria Group is the largest single shareholder in Sojaprotein with a stake of 25.6% .
