



































Developers broke ground Tuesday for the 100 mln euro Mall Bulgaria property in Sofia.
The office and shopping mall scheme, located on the Bulgaria boulevard, should be completed in two years, said Eli Egosi, manager of the property and representative of LSProperty, the company bankrolling the project, and of Salamanca Capital, the international property management group.
The development will have a build area of 140,000 sq m, including 33,000 sq m of leasable retail space and 25,000 sq m of office space. The mall, which will accommodate 140 shops, will be anchored by the outlets of French retailer Carrefour, local electronics retailer Technomarket and the Arena cinema chain.
LSProperty, focused primarily on Sofia and Bansko, has a pipeline of residential and vacation home projects. company representatives said it will also develop retail properties in smaller towns.
Egosi was part of the team that saw though the Mall of Sofia project and is currently involved in the construction of Grand Mall in Varna, on the Black Sea.
There are two more mixed-use retail and office schemes in the works, said Egosi, giving no further details.
