August 12 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip SOFIX index of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange started the week on a lower note as diversified group Industrial Holding Bulgaria [BUL:4ID] share price fell 1.96% to 1.00 levs ($0.57/0.51 euro) on Monday, bourse data showed.
The blue-chip index of the Sofia exchange dropped 0.30% to 581.90 percentage points after it edged down 0.03% to 583.63 points on Friday.
Sopharma AD [BUL:3JR] and Doverie United Holding [BUL:5DOV] were among the blue-chip decliners, losing 1.49% to 3.31 levs and 0.62% to 3.20 levs, respectively.
The indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange mostly fell on Monday despite a rise in the share price of Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:5BU], which added 1.51% to 2.02 levs.
The BGBX40, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the stock exchange in Sofia, fell 0.56% to 114.18 points, mostly dragged down by a drop in the share price of Neochim AD [BUL:3NB].
The BGTR30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, dropped 0.31% to 506.12 points as CEZ Distribution Bulgaria led decliners.
The BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts, gained 0.30% to 126.80 points on Monday, only backed by the increase in the share price of Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT.
Total regulated market trading turnover rose to 3.4 million levs on Monday from 2.96 levs on Friday.
