December 8 (SeeNews) - India-based cable manufacturer for the automotive industry Malhotra Cables plans to build $10 milllion (9.3 million euro) manufacturing plant in Macedonia's capital Skopje, former Macedonian prime minister Nikola Gruevski said on Thursday.
The new plant - the company's first in Europe - will spread on an area of 4,000 sq m, Gruevski said in a Facebook post.
Construction works should be completed by the end of next year, he added.
Malhotra Cables' investment in Macedonia will open 100 new jobs.
Conservative VMRO-DPMNE party led by Gruevski is expected to win Macedonia's early parliamentary elections on December 11, according to recent polls.
