ZAGREB (Croatia), July 19 (SeeNews) – Croatia's Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT-R-A]) said on Monday it is holding 868,475 of its own shares representing 1.075295% of the company's capital, after repurchasing 614 shares on July 16.
Hrvatski Telekom bought back the shares at a weighted average price of 191.4072 kuna ($30.04/25.50 euro) apiece on Friday, it said in a filing with the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE).
HT's share capital of 10.24 billion kuna is divided into 80.76 million shares with no par value. Hrvatski Telekom said in April it plans to buy back up to 3 million of its own shares by 2026 under a programme that aims to withdraw shares that have no nominal value without reducing the share capital.
The telco also said it will offer some of the repurchased shares to its employees.
HT's shares traded at 191.50 kuna on the ZSE intraday on Monday, up 0.26% compared to Friday's closing price.
