July 21 (SeeNews) - Croatia's Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT-R-A]) said on Wednesday it is holding 869,816 of its own shares representing 1.076955% of the company's capital, after repurchasing 553 shares on July 19 and 788 shares on July 20.
Hrvatski Telekom bought back the shares at a weighted average price of 191.5 kuna ($29.96/25.45 euro) apiece on July 19 and at 191.4365 kuna on July 20, it said in a filing with the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE).
HT's share capital of 10.24 billion kuna is divided into 80.76 million shares with no par value.
Hrvatski Telekom said in April it plans to buy back up to 3 million of its own shares by 2026 under a programme that aims to withdraw shares that have no nominal value without reducing the share capital. The telco also said it will offer some of the repurchased shares to its employees.
HT's shares traded at 190 kuna on the ZSE intraday on Wednesday, down 0.52% compared to Tuesday's closing price.
