January 31 (SeeNews) - The sales of Swedish fashion retailer Hennes&Mauritz (H&M) in Croatia increased by 4% on the year to 846 million Swedish crowns ($96.5 million/89.6 million euro) in fiscal year 2016, the company said on Tuesday.
In the local currency, H&M sales in Croatia grew 2% over the review period, the company said in its financial report for 2016 starting December 1 and ending on November 30.
In the last quarter of fiscal year 2016, H&M sales in Croatia rose 4% on the year to 248 million Swedish crowns. In the local kuna currency, H&M sales in Croatia stayed flat between September 1 and November 30.
H&M operated 15 stores in Croatia at the end of November.
In Southeast Europe, H&M is also present in Slovenia, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia and Turkey.
