September 30 (SeeNews) - The sales of Hennes&Mauritz (H&M) in Croatia increased by 3% on the year to 598 million Swedish crowns ($69.7 million/62.1 million euro) during the first nine months of the financial year 2016 starting December 1, the Swedish fashion retailer said on Friday.
In the local currency, H&M sales in Croatia grew 2% over the review period, the company said in its nine-month financial report.
In the third quarter of fiscal year 2016, H&M sales in Croatia rose 9% on the year to 231 million Swedish crowns. In the local kuna currency, H&M sales in Croatia increased 8% between June 1 and August 31.
H&M operated 15 stores in Croatia at the end of August.
In Southeast Europe, H&M is also present in Slovenia, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia and Turkey.
