December 2 (SeeNews) - Greece's industrial producer prices fell by 3.6% year-on-year in October - the steepest annual decline among EU member states in Southeast Europe (SEE) during the review period and the fifth-sharpest drop among EU-27, the bloc's statistical office said on Wednesday.
On a monthly comparison basis, Greece's industrial PPI edged up 0.1%, Eurostat said in a statement.
Croatia's industrial PPI fell by 2.3% year-on-year in October, above the EU average decrease of 2.0%. The country, however, posted the third-highest increase among EU-27 on a monthly comparison basis - of 1.1%.
Industrial PPI in Bulgaria and Romania fell by 1.4% and 1.3% on the year, respectively. On a monthly comparison basis, Bulgaria reported an increase of 0.5%, while Romania's industrial producer prices were unchanged.
Elsewhere in SEE, industrial producer prices in Slovenia rose by 1.0% on the year and by 0.3% month-on-month
