February 19 (SeeNews) - The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) said that it is extending a loan worth 2.5 million euro ($3 million) to ProCredit Bank Kosovo (PCBK), part of German ProCredit Holding, for energy efficiency improvements of residential buildings.
The loan is provided to support investments in green materials, equipment and technologies for privately-owned residential buildings, the EBRD said in a statement on Thursday.
The finances will by on-lent to individuals, housing collectives, producers, vendors of green technologies and service providers.
This loan is extended under EBRD's Green Economy Financing Facility (GEFF) and is supported by grant funding from the European Western Balkans Joint Fund under the Western Balkans Investment Framework, the European Union (EU) and Austria.
