January 26 (SeeNews) - The European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) said on Thursday it is inviting expressions of interest (EOI) in consultancy services to Kosovo's infrastructure ministry for the rehabilitation and upgrade of several road sections in the southeast of the country.
EBRD said in a procurement notice it will finance through a sovereign loan the rehabilitation of 14.08 km road section from the town of Kllokot to the city of Gjilan, as well as the upgrade of access roads in the cities of Ferizaj, Gjilan and Prizren with a total length of 11.6 km.
The bank seeks to engage a consultancy firm or group of firms for three works contracts with an estimated overall duration of 24 months for the implementation and 24 months for the defects notification period.
The consultant's expert team is expected to include key experts - one team leader and three resident engineers - a pool of additional experts consisting of geodesy and electro-technical engineers, and environmental, health and safety and contract experts.
Companies and consortium of companies are invited to apply until 1400 CET on February 27.
