May 6 (SeeNews) - Venture capital firm Early Game Ventures (EGV) said on Thursday that it has completed a new investment of 1.1 million euro ($1.33 million) in Romanian cloud infrastructure technology startup Bunnyshell.
This is EGV's second investment in Bunnyshell and confirms the company's spectacular evolution in the last year and a half, EGV said in a press release.
"This new round of funding allows us to accelerate expansion in international markets and develop the global network of partners." Bunnyshell co-founder and CEO Alin Dobra said.
Early Game Ventures is a venture capital firm established in Romania in 2018 which is funded mostly through the Competitiveness Operational Programme 2014-2020 and co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
"The demand for skilled people in systems management (Dev Ops) exploded during the pandemic when all companies had to accelerate their digitisation and build their cloud infrastructure," Early Game Ventures Partner Dan Calugareanu said.
Founded in 2018 in Bucharest, Bunnyshell is a software as a service (SaaS) platform to simplify the usage of a cloud platform, from the very beginning – the coding; to the last operation – production.
