January 23 (SeeNews) - Dm Bosnia, part of German cosmetics and consumer goods retailer dm-drogerie markt, is searching for a location in East Ilidza, near Sarajevo, to open a new shop, East Ilidza's municipal government said on Thursday.
The new sales and storage facility will spread over 20,000 square metres, the municipal government said in a press release.
In the financial year 2018/2019 ended in September, dm invested 8 million marka ($4.5 million/4.1 million euro) in the expansion and modernisation of its sales network throughout Bosnia, as well as in the expansion of its distribution centre in the country.
Dm-drogerie runs 74 stores located in 42 Bosnian cities, employing 719 people.
The German retailer entered the Bosnian market in 2006.
East Ilidza is a municipality located in the city of East Sarajevo, in the Serb Republic - one of two autonomous entities, which together with the Federation entity forms Bosnia and Herzegovina.
