ZAGREB (Croatia), November 29 (SeeNews) – The share of non-performing loans (NPLs) in Croatia's banking system fell for the fifth straight quarter, reaching 14.65% at end-September, down from 14.99% at end-June, central bank data showed on Tuesday.
The NPL ratio for non-financial corporations declined to 29.99% at the end of the third quarter from 30.01% at end-June, while the NPL ratio for the household segment fell to 11.06% from 11.18%, the data indicated.
The total value of partly recoverable and fully irrecoverable loans was 38.9 billion kuna ($5.16 billion/5.46 billion euro) at the end of September, out of a total loan portfolio of 265.5 billion kuna.
