November 16 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) gained ground on Wednesday, halting a three-day losing streak, amidst a higher regular turnover, bourse data showed.
The 19-share CROBEX added 0.16% to finish at 1,910.05 points. The narrower index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, advanced 0.09% to close at 1,130.13 points.
Index heavyweight Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] was the most traded company on the bourse with a turnover of 1.6 million kuna ($220,000/212,000 euro), as its shares declined 0.29% to close at 174.50 kuna.
Shares of hotel owner and operator Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] appreciated 0.35% to close at 28.50 kuna in a turnover of 1.2 million kuna.
The biggest daily gainer were shares of port operator Luka Rijeka [ZSE:LKRI] which soared 27.17% to end at 58.50 kuna as 7,991 shares changed hands. They are not part of the main equity indices.
The bourse's regular trading turnover reached 10.4 million kuna from 3.5 million kuna on Tuesday.
