ZAGREB (Croatia), September 23 (SeeNews) – Zagreb-based Ericsson Nikola Tesla said on Friday it has signed a deal to modernise the fixed core network of Bosnian telecommunications company JP Hrvatske Telekomunikacije d.d Mostar.
The price of the deal was not disclosed.
The modernisation will enable the development of the fixed-line and mobile multimedia services offered by HT Mostar using the state-of-the-art Ericsson solutions, the company said in a filing with the Zagreb bourse.
"This contract confirms the long-term partnership between the companies, as well as their good collaboration on activities regarding the modernisation of Bosnia and Herzegovina telecommunications", Ericsson noted.
The government of the Muslim-Croat Federation owns 50.1% of HT Mostar, Croatian telecoms operator Hrvatski Telekom holds a 39.1% stake and Croatia’s postal operator Hrvatske Poste owns 5.23%.
The Federation is one of the two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
