ZAGREB (Croatia), October 25 (SeeNews) – Zagreb-based Ericsson Nikola Tesla said on Tuesday it had signed a 11 million kuna ($1.6 million/1.5 million euro) deal to expand the 3G radio access network of Bosnian telecommunications company JP Hrvatske Telekomunikacije d.d Mostar.
The works will start immediately, and the project is to be completed within 10 months, Ericsson said in a filing with the Zagreb bourse.
“I am glad that we have continued with our good longtime collaboration. Our users will be provided with new possibilities that are based on Ericsson's renowned solutions and the competence of Ericsson Nikola Tesla's experts,” Vilim Primorac, HT Mostar management board president and CEO, commented in the filing.
The government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina owns 50.1% of HT Mostar, Croatian telecoms operator Hrvatski Telekom holds a 39.1% stake and Croatia’s postal operator Hrvatske Poste owns 5.23%.
The Federation is one of the two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
