January 31 (SeeNews) - Croatian diversified holding company Djuro Djakovic [ZSE:DDJH-R-A] said on Tuesday its special vehicles manufacturing unit has signed an 8 million kuna ($1.14 million/1.06 million euro) deal with the country's defence ministry to inspect its M-84 battle tanks.
The company will do a general review of Croatia's M-84 vehicles in the fourth quarter, Djuro Djakovic said in a Zagreb bourse filing.
The M-84 is a Yugoslav third generation main battle tank, a variant of the Soviet T-72.
On Monday, Croatia's defence ministry said it signed contracts worth a combined 230 million kuna with 34 local firms for some 400 kinds of goods and services for the country's armed forces.
