February 6 (SeeNews) - Croatian diversified group company Djuro Djakovic [ZSE:DDJH-R-A] said on Monday its special vehicles unit agreed a 15 million kuna ($2.2 million/2 million euro) deal for the supply of additional tank carriages of Zacns series to France's Atir Rail.
The unit, Djuro Djakovic Specijalna Vozila, will complete the delivery in the third quarter of 2017, the group said in a filing to the Zagreb bourse.
In October, Djuro Djakovic said it signed a 54 million kuna deal to build and deliver an unspecified number of railroad tank carriages type Zacns to an unnamed French client. In January, it announced that Atir Rail has increased its order of tank carriages by 23 million kuna.
The four–axle wagons of Zacns series are designed to transport hazardous liquids.
The main lines of business of the Djuro Djakovic conglomerate are the manufacturing of equipment for steelworks, industrial and power plants and the production of rolling stock and special-purpose motor vehicles.
