December 6 (SeeNews) - Croatian shipyard Brodotrogir said Tuesday it has delivered a nautical tourism vessel to local company More, based in the coastal town of Baska Voda.
The ship, 30 m in length and 7.5 m wide, was contracted by More, a company specialising in tourism services, with the aim of growing its fleet, Brodotrogir said in a statement.
By building this ship, Brodotrogir has contributed to the steadily growing industry of nautical tourism in Croatia, the company noted.
In August, Brodotrogir said it is looking to significantly increase its employee count to meet the increased volume of work and outstanding contracts including the construction of a special tanker for icy waters for a Finish client, an MR tanker with a deadweight tonnage of 45,000 and a series of four chemical tankers for navigation in the North Sea and the Baltic Sea.
