July 22 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) slightly advanced on Thursday in marginally higher turnover, bourse data showed.
The ZSE's blue-chip 18-share benchmark CROBEX index gained 0.36%, closing at 1,925.44 points.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, finished at 1,189.45 points, up 0.31%.
Shares of blue-chip food, beverages and pharmaceuticals producer Podravka generated the biggest daily turnover, 1.4 million kuna, ending flat at 584 kuna ($91.4/77.5 euro). Earlier in the day the company said that its first-half net profit rose 22% to 197.6 million kuna.
Civil engineering company Ingra [ZSE:INGR] was the biggest daily gainer on Thursday. Its shares advanced 8.33% to close at 13 kuna in a turnover of some 440,000 kuna.
Shares of shipping company Jadroplov [ZSE:JDPL] dropped 20.57% to 33,20 kuna in a turnover of 265,700 kuna following news that the company aims to boost its capital by at least 50 million kuna by a public offering of new shares.
The bourse's total regular trading turnover rose to 4.9 million kuna from some 3.7 million kuna on Wednesday.
