June 9 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) rose on Wednesday for a second straight day, bourse data showed.
News from Wednesday from ICT solutions provider Ericsson Nikola Tesla and top food and drugs producer Podravka failed to produce significant changes in their share prices.
Ericsson Nikola Tesla's shares closed unchanged at 1680 kuna following news the company has signed a 38 million kuna two-year deal with the State Geodetic Administration and the justice and administration ministry for maintenance of their joint information system of land registers and cadastre.
Podravka's stock ended up 0.34% at 592 kuna after the company announced that will invest some 5 billion kuna in organic and non-organic growth under its 2021-2025 strategy approved earlier in the day.
Shipping company Jadroplov's shares closed 7.5% higher at 25.80 kuna.
Total daily turnover increased to 8.9 million kuna ($1.4 million /1.2 million euro), compared with 6.8 million kuna on Tuesday, with most of it contributed by OTC deals.
The ZSE's 18-share benchmark CROBEX index ended at 1.958,03 points, up 0.43%. The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, added 0.56% to close at 1.210,84 points.
