June 7 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) dipped on Monday, as the total daily turnover fell to 7.5 million kuna ($1.23 million/1.0 million euro) from 36.9 million kuna on Friday, bourse data showed.
Telecom HT marked the biggest daily turnover of almost 1.1 million kuna as its shares fell 0.81% to a closing price of 183 kuna.
Shares of top food producer Podravka added 0.34% to close at 590 kuna following news the European Union and the Croatian government have approved a 19.4 million kuna grant to finance a capacity upgrade project at the company's fruit and vegetables processing plant Kalink worth 40.6 million kuna. However, the turnover from transactions involving Podravka's shares totalled just 120,320 kuna.
The ZSE's 18-share benchmark CROBEX index ended at 1.942,34 points, down 0.34%.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, was down 0.38%, closing at 1.200,40 points on Monday.
