September 30 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian medical consumables producer Etropal [BUL:5EO] said on Wednesday that its consolidated net profit excluding minority interest edged up to 24,000 levs ($14,000/12,000 euro) in the first half of 2020 from 22,000 levs in the same period of 2019.
Etropal's revenue fell to 3.7 million levs in the first six months of the year from 4.1 million levs in the comparable period of 2019, the company said in an interim financial statement.
The company's expenses also decreased to 3.7 million levs from 4.1 million levs, mostly due to lower expenses for materials.
Etropal is the largest producer of medical consumables for hemodialysis in Bulgaria.
