August 19 (SeeNews) - Assets managed by Bulgarian investment funds totalled 859.9 million levs ($498 million/440.2 million euro) at the end of June, up 1.4% year-on-year, central bank data showed on Friday.
Assets managed by foreign investment funds in Bulgaria edged up by an annual 0.4% to 1.38 billion levs at end-June, the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) said in a statement.
The assets of Bulgarian share-focused investment funds grew 11% on the year to 305.3 million levs, those of balanced funds rose 29.5% to 177.2 million levs, while those of bond-focused funds dropped 13.5% to 375.8 million levs.
As of end-June, bond funds held the largest share of 43.7% in the assets of resident investment funds, down from 51.2% reported in June 2015.
