SOFIA (Bulgaria), January 19 (SeeNews) – Bulgaria relaunched a 35.1 million levs ($19 million/18 million euro) tender for the rehabilitation of three secondary roads, the country's Road Infrastructure Agency said.
Interested bidders should submit their offers by January 26, the agency says in a notice posted on its website on Monday. The offers will be opened the following day.
The tender is divided into three subcontracts.
The first, for the reconstruction of 8.7 km of road II-35, located in Lovech municipality, in central Bulgaria, has an indicative value of 13.6 million levs.
The second subcontract envisages the reconstruction of 9.5 km of road III-306, located in Pleven municipality, in northern Bulgaria. The indicative value of the subcontract is 7.8 million levs.
The third subcontract is for the reconstruction of 29.8 km of road III-112, located in Montana municipality, in northwestern Bulgaria, and has an indicative value of 13.7 million levs.
The tender, initially launched in September, faced a complaint filed with the country's competition regulator over an extension of the deadline for submitting offers from November 7 to November 10.
