January 13 (SeeNews) - The number of construction permits issued in Croatia in November increased by 32.4% on the year, reaching 822, the statistics office said on Friday.
The number of building permits issued in the first eleven months of the year rose by an annual 25.1% to 7,150, the statistics office said in a statement.
The number of permits issued for buildings in November increased 27.6% on the year, reaching 634, while the number of permits issued for civil engineering works surged 51.6% to 188.
The planned value of works covered by the total number of construction permits issued in November reached 2.3 billion kuna ($325.2 million/305.5 million euro).
Out of the total number of permits issued in November, 550 were for new construction, while 272 related to reconstruction.
According to the permits issued in November, 913 dwellings were planned, up 7.9% year-on-year.
