December 4 (SeeNews) - Bosnia’s Telekom Srpske [BANJ:TLKM-R-A] said on Friday it will pay an interim dividend of 0.0329 marka ($0.021/0.017 euro) per share, slightly lower than last year's interim dividend of 0.0355 marka.
The company will distribute as dividend a total of 16.16 million marka from its 2020 profit, Telekom Srpske said in a filing to the Banja Luka Stock Exchange (BLSE).
The dividend payment plan was approved by the company's shareholders' assembly held on December 4.
The dividend will be paid out to the company's shareholders registered as of December 25. The interim dividend payment date is December 31.
In December 2019, Telekom Srpske distributed an interim dividend of 0.0355 marka per share, or an overall 17.4 million marka of last year's profit of some 61 million marka. The remaining 43.58 million marka from the 2019 net profit was paid out to the shareholders as a final dividend of 0.089 marka per share in July.
Telekom Srpske reported earlier that its unconsolidated net profit rose slightly to 34.7 million marka in the first nine months of 2020, from 34.3 million marka in the like period of last year.
Telekom Srpske is majority-owned by Serbian state-controlled Telekom Srbija and has its clients mainly in the Serb Republic entity, which forms Bosnia together with the Federation entity.
Bosnia, a country of some 3.5 million, has two other telecommunication companies, both state-controlled - BH Telecom and HT Mostar.
