SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), February 24 (SeeNews) – The trade deficit of Bosnia's Serb Republic decreased by 60.5% to 19.5 million marka ($12.1 million/10 million euro) in January, the entity's statistical office said.
Exports increased by an annual 4.3% to 261.6 million marka, while imports dropped by 6.4% to 281 million marka in January, the Serb Republic's Institute of Statistics said in a monthly report earlier this week.
The entity's largest trade partner in January was Italy with a share of 14.2% of total trade turnover, followed by Serbia with 13.5% and Slovenia with 10.6%.
Bosnia's Serb Republic trade deficit fell by 7.4% to 1.1 billion marka in 2020.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
