February 24 (SeeNews) - The average net monthly wage in Bosnia's Serb Republic increased by a nominal 5.2% year-on-year in January, reaching 962 marka ($597/492 euro), the entity's statistical office said.
On a monthly comparison basis, the net wage fell by 1.8% in nominal terms in January, the Serb Republic's Institute of Statistics said in a statement earlier this week, without providing figures for the change in real terms.
The average gross monthly wage in the Serb Republic amounted to 1,492 marka in January.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
