December 13 (SeeNews) - The Federation government said it will allocate 5.3 million marka ($3.0 million/2.7 million euro) to railway infrastructure upgrades in the autonomous entity.
The Federation will spend 2.5 million marka to instal an optic cable in a traction power substation (TPSS) on the Banloz - Maglaj section, some 140 km north-west of Sarajevo, the entity's government said in a press release on Thursday.
Another 2.8 million marka will go for upgrades on the tracks on the Sarajevo Putna - Podlugovi section.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
