August 3 (SeeNews) - Bosnia-based insurer Croatia Osiguranje d.d. Mostar said its net profit fell to 38,924 marka ($23,600/19,900 euro) in the first half of 2021, compared with a profit of 749,066 marka booked in the same period of last year.
Croatia Osiguranje d.d. Mostar's premium revenue dropped 3.3% on the year to 18.5 million marka in January-June, the company said in a financial statement last week.
Its net expenses for insurance cases fell to 11.9 million marka in the January-June period from 12.9 million marka in the first half of 2020, while net operating costs edged down 1% to 7.6 million marka.
The company's assets totalled 133.74 million marka at the end of June, little changed from 133.67 million marka at end-2020.
Zagreb-based insurer Croatia Osiguranje controls 95% of its Bosnian unit.
